Abstract

In the tragedy of Euripides, Electra, a discursive clash between Electra and his mother Clitemnestra gains prominence, in which there is a subversion of the parresiastic contract, according to Foucault (2007). Focusing precisely on this subversion, we propose to return to a history of women in Ancient Greece to understand the crossings that these women have in their relations with the truths, rituals, precepts and conducts that, in turn, are indicative of their constructions as subjects.
