This research is the result of the course conclusion work and aims to analyze the presence of women in a collection of Mathematics textbooks, since, in the school setting and particularly in the classrooms, these women do not have visibility. In this context, it is intended to contribute to the practice of mathematics educators by proposing them to reflect on the importance of addressing the participation of women in Mathematics in the classroom, as well as for the scientific environment, since there are still gaps present in the treatment of this theme. This research follows a qualitative approach and will use document analysis as a data collection technique. The literature review seeks to discuss the importance of women's history in Mathematics being present in textbooks. In addition, it presents how the history of these women can contribute to the teaching-learning process. The results obtained through data analysis show how Mathematics textbooks ignore the contributions of women in the development of Mathematics.
