This work studies the sizing of greywater reservoirs considering the uncertainties in the input data. Capacity is found by an optimization process that takes into account the reliability of the system and the risk of undersizing it. The capacity results for maximum reliability e minimum risk was just of 64.27 liters for the case study. To confirm the applicability of this greywater reuse, a simulation of water consumption in a building was conducted using the system and compared with fully conventional use. The model provided a significantly lower water consumption for sanitary flushing by using relatively small reservoirs in each apartment.
