CONGRUENCES OF NARAYANA NUMBERS MODULO PRIMES AND POWERS OF PRIMES

Abstract

Based on the ideas from [11], which establish a structural identity between Narayana central numbers and Catalan numbers, and using arithmetic criteria from the literature that classify primes dividing specific classes of Catalan numbers, this paper derives necessary and sufficient conditions for a Narayana central number to be divisible by an arbitrary prime.

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Grande Dourados - UFGD (2019). Master's degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU (2022) with a focus on finite fields and permutation polynomials over finite fields. PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Discrete Mathematics/Combinatorics, with a focus on difference equations. Member of the Mato Grosso do Sul Discrete Mathematics Group (GMADSul) - CNPq.

Vascon, G. M., Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados

He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) and a master's degree in mathematics from PROFMAT-UFGD. He is interested in research in Applied Mathematics or Mathematics Education.

Craveiro, I. M., Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados

She is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Grande Dourados. Her experience is in mathematics, with an emphasis on digital modulations matched to groups, discrete mathematics, and combinatorics.
