Abstract

This essay addresses the issue of ideology in the work of Bertolt Brecht. It was in the field of aesthetics, particularly in the field of the performing arts, that Brecht waged his struggle, basically setting himself the task of criticizing
and deconstructing bourgeois ideology, whose power consists in presenting relations of exploitation and oppression as natural. In his dialectical theater, the German playwright reveals how strange, in fact, these relationships are,
which to the oppressed seem to be normal, evident.
