Presentation of the market overview and production of serial fiction works released by these platforms between 2016 and 2023. We seek to understand the characteristics and dynamics of this market and address questions of continuities and transformations. Methodologically, we used data collected from portals, along with news, documents, and specialized discussions that engage with, deepen, and converge with the data. The results reveal production trends, highlight the need for regulation, and emphasize the importance of developing public policies suited to the Brazilian audiovisual landscape.
