Television is still power: interview with Suzy dos Santos
Abstract
With a bachelor's and master's degree in Communication from UFRGS and a doctorate in Communication and Culture from UFBA, Suzy dos Santos has stood out, among others, for her research into electronic coronelismo, the families that own broadcasters and are also represented in politics. In this interview for Eptic Magazine, she shows that the umbilical relationship between Brazilian broadcasters and the National Congress remains the same, while this problem is compounded by the continued growth of religious TV networks.
