The objective of this text is to make a brief presentation of the current transition of the global system of culture as part of capitalist restructuring, mobilizing the Sohn-Rethel concept of dual transition economy, in which two contradictory economic laws coexist, characterizing the critical situation experienced by the system since the transition of the twentieth century.
