ABSTRACT
This study seeks, based on the conceptions pointed out by Giorgio Agamben in the work Homo Sacer - sovereign power and naked life (2007), to understand the notion of naked life and sovereign power and how, from this relationship, it is verified the designation of 'gang' and 'wolf', in which man is constituted by a worthless life in which, despite being under the aegis of a sovereign power (the State), he is excluded from society by the same that protects you. With the theoretical contribution of great philosophers and thinkers such as Arendt, Levi, Hobbes and Heidegger, Agamben (2007), traces a study on the life of man from a political perspective that instead of seeking the protection (of life) of the individual, has been used as a tool for segregation and imposition on those who fall within the killable sphere, based on sovereign power.
