Abstract

Adopting an ethnographic-performative perspective, this article aims to discuss the relationship between art, struggle for land and children as protagonists at the First National Meeting of the Landless Children, an event that brought together 1200 children from 24 Brazilian states in July 2018, at Brasília / DF - Brazil. Based on our experience in the “Protagonists Children” Project with the Pedagogy of the Oppressed, by Paulo Freire, and the Theater of the Oppressed, by Augusto Boal, we intend to think over the shares made with the children during this and another meeting that took place in 2020. In this dialogue, we used the vast material produced by the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST), as well as the recent research carried out by Barros (2013), Couto (2014), Ramos (2013), Rosseto (2016), Rudi (2018), Vendramini (2013), among others.
