Transformations in the work and leisure practices of CCSA/UFS professors in times of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

The research in question investigates the intricate transformations experienced by the professors of the Center for Applied Social Sciences (CCSA) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using a multifaceted approach, the study seeks to understand the crucial dimensions of teachers' professional and personal lives, exploring the impacts of the home office on labor productivity and examining the relevance of practices related to tourism and leisure as strategies to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. Therefore, the general objective of the research is to discuss the transformations in the work and leisure practices of CCSA teachers, considering the challenges imposed by the pandemic. The methodology used included a bibliographic survey and the application of a quali-quantitative questionnaire, providing a solid basis for data collection and analysis. The detailed analysis of the data revealed the complexity of the transformations experienced by the CCSA professors, providing valuable insights into their perceptions in relation to the changes that occurred. The dimensions explored present issues related to work, leisure, and productivity, which contributed to a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by teachers in a pandemic context.
