Abstract

This article analyzes the construction of digital identities through the memory narratives of Balaclavu, an artist from the Tupiniqueeen collective, active in Manaus between 2018 and 2020. Based on oral history and digital history methods, the research investigates the articulation between individual and collective memory in the context of the collective's cultural productions, considering social markers such as gender, race, and sexuality. The article presents an experimental methodology for collecting, classifying, and archiving digital historical sources, especially content published on the collective’s Facebook and Instagram profiles. The study highlights the intersections between memory, identity, and digitality, proposing new approaches to interpreting and preserving historical records in cyberspace.
