This article aims to present the results of a bibliographic research, outlined as a state of knowledge, developed with the objective of mapping and analyzing the current status of academic production linked to the teaching of mathematics in the context of electronic spreadsheets, in elementary and medium. The proposal started with the search for contemporary theses and dissertations related to the subject, following with the systematization of the focus, scope and main conclusions. As a result, the relevance of professional master’s programs is perceived, the priority use of paid software and the focus on operational processes related to the use of the program. Such observations signal the need for proposals aimed at the inclusion of the school in the digital culture, not only from the access to digital technology, but above all from the resizing of teaching practices.
