FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN BRAZILIAN RESEARCHES: A BIBLIOGRAPHIC SURVEY FOCUSING ON HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (2009 - 2019)

This article discusses a bibliographical survey, based on dissertations and theses on Financial Education of graduate programs in the areas of Education and Teaching, using works available in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Level Personnel as a documental corpus. Superior (Capes). The research was guided by purchases of the qualitative approach and data production followed the principles of content analysis. The search term “Financial Education” was identified in the title of 107 productions dated from 2009 to 2019, allocated in the areas of Education (17 studies) and Teaching (90 surveys). The results allow emphasizing the concentration of research in the last three years of the timeframe, that is, 2017 - 2019, and in two graduate programs, namely: Graduate Program in Mathematics Education (UFJF) and Program of Studies Graduates in Mathematics Education (PUC/SP). Among the themes emphasized in the studies and related to Financial Education, we highlight theoretical references of the models of the semantic fields, critical mathematics education and ethnomathematics, in addition to connections with digital technologies, statistical education and textbooks.
