THE TRAFFIC OF POLISH GIRLS IN EL INFIERNO PROMETIDO, BY ELSA DRUCAROFF

First published in 2006, El Infierno Prometido, by the argentinian writer Elsa Drucaroff was inspired in the traffic of jewish girls from East Europe between the end of 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century. During a long time it was a taboo subject, but nowadays it has been revised by historians and writers who are concerned about the non oficial version of History. For this papper, we will be foccused on the new historian novel aspects used but the autor to build the character Dina. Her memories contributes to observe the life of the trafficked girls and how the community receive this problem. As reference we have Cristina Pons, Fernando Ainsa and Donna Guy.
