Abstract

This article discusses the construction of the Journal of Technology and Information of Knowledge (RTIC) platform, aiming to develop a scientific journal portal that promotes usability, accessibility, and effective scientific dissemination. The proposal seeks to meet the needs of students and researchers in a dynamic digital environment. The adopted methodology was participatory and dynamic, involving the analysis of concepts related to information architecture, librarianship, and responsive design. The website development utilized the Open Journal Systems (OJS), with prototyping in CorelDRAW and the creation of mockups to evaluate responsiveness across different devices. Communication among team members was facilitated by digital platforms. The resulting platform demonstrates a functional and responsive structure, with intuitive and organized navigation. Usability was enhanced through the application of design guidelines, while accessibility was considered, although it requires additional plugins. The integration of forms for reviewer registration and social media dissemination strategies strengthened the visibility of the scientific content. The RTIC establishes itself as a reference model for creating scientific journals, highlighting the importance of information architecture in promoting a cohesive and inclusive user experience. However, the study's limitations include the need for further development in accessibility and reliance on external technologies for implementing certain functionalities. This work reaffirms the relevance of information and knowledge management in digital platforms, proposing a model adaptable to different academic contexts.
