“CORREIO TRABALHISTA”: O JORNAL DO PARTIDO TRABALHISTA BRASILEIRO NA BAHIA

Abstract

Correio Trabalhista was published by the Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro, Bahia section, in 1946. The main objective of the article is to analyze the political content present in the journal, in which it expressed the political and ideological line adopted by the association at the national level, in the which was based on the Getulist and labor discourse, in addition to the anti-communist orientation. Furthermore, presenting the position of the Bahian PTB towards the workers, organized in unions, at the moment when the country began a new phase of democratic experience will be fundamental for us to understand the party and the space in which it occupied the State of Bahia. The newspaper will be object and source of study.
