The teaching and learning of fractions are recurring themes in research in Mathematics Education. They have been approached in the most diverse ways and with specific conceptions about the mathematical object fraction. To advance on the theme, it is important to understand what has already been produced. For that we assume the interrogation: What is revealed in the researches published by ENEM about the ways of teaching fractions in Elementary School? What interpretations do these works assign to the fractions? These questions led this investigation, according to a phenomenological qualitative approach. From the survey carried out in the annals of the event, 20 works resulted that were selected and analyzed according to their own information in the light of the questions of this research. Atlas.ti software was used to support the data analysis and categorization process. The main results point to the presence of diversified teaching ways for the content of fractions, with emphasis on the understanding fractions based in the partition model.
