This work is the result of a pedagogical practice developed with a 6th grade class from a private school in the city of Belo Horizonte (MG). This class is made up of fourteenstudents, three of whom are the target audience of Special Education –one has Down Syndrome, another has a report of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and one student has a report of Mild Mental Retardation and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The purpose of this article is to present an inclusive scenario of mathematical learning that addresses addition and subtraction operations from the collection of pet bottle caps with the purpose of helping a non-governmental organization (NGO) that takes care of abandoned animals. The theoretical framework used is the concepts of Creative Insubordination, and the methodology and data analysis arebased on Narratives. The results indicate that acts of Creative Insubordination favor the integration and learning of students, especially those students who are the target audience of Special Education.
