FEELINGS AROUSED BY MATHEMATICS: WHAT THE PEDAGOGY STUDENTS SHARE

This study reports a biographical-narrative investigation with students from the 7th semester of the Pedagogy course at Campus XII Bahia State University in the second semester of 2017. This work aimed to analyze, feelings shared by pedagogy students regarding mathematics in basic education: hurts, enchantments, experiences and memories. The data were collected and analyzed in narrative interviews with five of these students, who report their stories and experiences with mathematics - the traumas that remained; the aroused feelings; the motivations during his student trajectory; the importance of mathematics in their lives. Such stories, which report back and forth, trace the trajectory of their authors and also reveal how a math teacher can be etched in the student's life in a negative or positive way and how the school environment, from which winners come, is fundamental for human life.
