In the context of large-scale assessment in the Portuguese language, notable examinations include the National High School Exam of Brazil (ENEM), which evaluates students' performance at the end of basic education, and the National Exam of Portugal (ENP), which regulates access to higher education in that country. Considering the significant increase in Brazilian students enrolled in basic education in Portugal, this research (i) analyzes and delves into the detailed structure of Portugal's Mathematics exams, (ii) classifies the content of ENEM and ENP exams through the analysis of 272 Mathematics items, establishing connections with the Brazilian Common National Curriculum (BNCC). The results indicate that 52.7% of ENP items address content present in the Brazilian school mathematics curriculum, and the exam that most closely resembles ENEM in terms of content and format is the Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences exam.
