Digital minimalism is a philosophy that proposes intentional and conscious use of technologies. Despite growing interest in the topic, there has been little production in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS) since then. This study conducts a scientific mapping with the objective of mapping scientific productions on digital minimalism, identifying contributions in different fields. The search to define the corpus of analysis was carried out in the OpenAlex database in August 2025, considering articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Of the 55 documents retrieved, 19 comprised the corpus of analysis after applying the inclusion criteria. The results show a predominance of studies in the social sciences, but with an emphasis on education and philosophy, addressing topics such as productivity, mental health, and critical use of technologies. Despite the thematic and methodological diversity found, no direct contributions from BCI were identified, revealing gaps and research opportunities related to informational behavior, digital culture, and mediation in contexts of reduced or intentional use of information.
