Analyse scientifique du minimalisme numérique

Résumé

Le minimalisme numérique est une philosophie qui prône une utilisation intentionnelle et consciente des technologies. Malgré l’intérêt croissant suscité par ce sujet depuis lors, on constate encore une faible production dans le domaine de la bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l’information (BSI). La présente étude réalise une cartographie scientifique visant à recenser les travaux scientifiques sur le minimalisme numérique, en identifiant les contributions dans différents domaines. La recherche visant à définir le corpus d’analyse a été effectuée dans la base OpenAlex, en août 2025, en prenant en compte des articles en portugais, en anglais et en espagnol. Sur les 55 documents récupérés, 19 ont constitué le corpus d’analyse après application des critères d’inclusion. Les résultats mettent en évidence une prédominance des études en sciences sociales, mais aussi, notamment, en éducation et en philosophie, abordant des thèmes tels que la productivité, la santé mentale et les pratiques d’utilisation critique des technologies. Malgré la diversité thématique et méthodologique constatée, aucune contribution directe de la BCI n’a été identifiée, ce qui révèle des lacunes et des opportunités de recherche liées au comportement informationnel, à la culture numérique et à la médiation dans des contextes d’utilisation réduite ou intentionnelle de l’information.
