Underestimated in Sergipe, the poet Araripe Coutinho became an out-of-center subject when he produced works that were estranged from meanings of potentiated subjectivities that transgress heteronormativity and patriarchal. This work aims to point out meanings related to dissident sexualities in Coutinho’s literature considering the first book “Amor Sem Rosto”, published in 1989. The research focuses on the texts of the author who seeks to create himself using everyday languages that move relationships and affect constitute signs that operate the poet’s queer poetics.
