Abstract

This article aims to discuss some epistemological perspectives of emerging facets of research in the field of pragmatic studies, especially around issues related to linguistic violence, face studies and linguistic politeness, and gender issues implied in these interactional phenomena. Therefore, we present the theoretical-analytical design of three researches developed within the Pragmatic and Social Minorities line of the Group of Studies in Language, Interaction and Society of the Federal University of Sergipe (Gelins/UFS), Brazil, between 2016 and 2019. We can point out some problematizations that these researches offer to the field of language studies in use in Brazil, as well as possible paths for a research in Linguistic Pragmatics, social and critical.
