Abstract

In the book called Violence, the Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Zizek analyzes the concept of violence and his types. Considering the relevance of the current theme of genocide in Palestine, this article seeks to draw analogies between the current situation of Palestinian refugees and Zizek's analysis of violence and the violent history of the State of Israel since its foundation. In this way, it seeks to defend an interpretation of the project of the founding of the State of Israel as a project that sought exactly what is practiced in our contemporaneity, as well as to justify the legitimacy of the emancipatory struggle of the irregular groups against the State of Israel.
