Study of the Military Dictatorship in the New High School

a real window to the present time

Abstract

History Teaching underwent a new (de)structuring at BNCCEM. However, this organization left spaces to work on concepts and knowledge specific to this science. Based on the History of the Present Time, this article proposes the study of the Military Dictatorship through the testimonies of victims and state agents collected by the National Truth Commission (CNV), relating Memory and Testimony to Science History. The objective is, with this, the popularization of the works of the CNV in basic education and the fight against presenteeism.
