the issue of gender and the political performance of women guerrillas

Abstract

This article aims to recover the participation of women guerrillas in Cuban Revolution and reflect how this approach can be worked in classroom in view of social and gender demands today. For this, some theoric references will be presented that address the issue of "gender". Next, a brief exposure of the activities of women guerrillas in Cuban Revolution and a reflection on the new teaching possibilities of the Cuban Revolution in the present time will be made, considering the potentialities of a "history from women’s perspective".
