STATISTICAL EDUCATION FOR BLIND STUDENTS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

Abstract

In this article, we discuss the results of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which aimed to analyse published research on teaching and learning Statistics for blind students from 2015 to 2022. The research data resulted from dissertations and theses national ones collected in the following five databases: Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD); repository of theses and dissertations of the Graduate Program in Mathematics and Technological Education (PPGEdumatec), of the Education Center of the Federal University of Pernambuco; Catalog of theses and dissertations from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes); and open data from Capes. Based on a qualitative analysis of research, it was identified that activities with mediations and tactile resources, associated with the sense of hearing, enhance the Statistical Education of blind students.
