Preparation of instructional materials:
link between specialized information and user education

This article presents recommendations for the preparation of instructional materials in the scope of libraries. Initially, it exposes the concept, the typology and the most common uses of these materials. The recommendations presented concern the mandatory structural elements, recommended partnerships, storage, dissemination and updating of instructional materials. He concludes by emphasizing that it is not easy to install this structure of guidance and support for the preparation of instructional materials, but it must be started so that, in the medium and long term, the library is able to prepare materials with increasing quality.
