Starting from the exhibition “Invisible porosities” in 2022, this
reflection retraces the stages and challenges of an educational
project which revisits the scientific collections of the University of
Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier through the eyes and gestures of the
students from the Higher Institute of Arts and Design of Toulouse. The article analyzes the porosities, visible and invisible, constructed between art and sciences by this original experience, as well as the mediations which are at work in this project. We will thus see how the UPS collections serve the training of views and scientific knowledge, and how art can help mediate science.
