Peer review

As part of the submission process, authors are responsible for ensuring compliance with the guidelines regarding all items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will not be accepted and will be returned to the authors.

The following works will not be accepted:

  1. those not submitted by authors, after registration or using a password, through the OJS system.
  2. those currently under review by another journal or that are identical to works published in full in the proceedings of scientific events.

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited; in such cases, authors must properly cite the sources consulted.

Authors must remove any identification of authorship from the manuscript and the file, including in the file’s metadata, to ensure anonymous peer review. If this criterion is not met, the manuscript will be rejected by the editor.

After submission via OJS3, the manuscript is initially evaluated by the editor, who must assess the relevance of the submitted work to the journal’s focus and scope. Next, if deemed relevant, the editor forwards the work to the journal’s panel of reviewers for the assignment of two reviewers, adopting the system of anonymous peer review. If necessary, the work will be analyzed by a third reviewer or may be submitted to ad hoc reviewers.

Based on the reviews submitted, it is the editor’s responsibility to provide the author with a final decision regarding the submitted work.
