The objective of this study was to analyze comparatively the factors influencing students' performance in the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) from the countries of Singapore and Brazil. For that, the data of the questionnaires answered by the students in the PISA 2015 were used. Data analysis was performed from Multiple Linear Regression, including specific characteristics of the sampling plan complex survey. The results show that the perceived return Index is the factor that most positively affects the performance of students in Singapore, while for the Brazilian students the lag Index is the one that most positively impacts the performance in the test, indicating that the students who are in the series equivalent to their age present better results. In addition, some differences between the female and male sexes were identified.
