This article interprets the “marks” of working bodies in Societies 4.0 (Scribano and Lisdero, 2019), integrating contributions from the body and emotion theory. Based on secondary sources and interviews with digital workers in Córdoba and Villa María (Argentina), it seeks to problematize the emotional dimension of digital work and propose a broad notion of “body marks” as key to understanding current restructuring processes. The paper is organized around three axes: (1) a conceptualization of the intersection between digitization and emotionalization of work, proposing body marks as an analytical tool; (2) the presentation of secondary data that contextualizes traditional ways of addressing bodily conditions at work; and (3) the recovery of the voices of the actors to explore the relationship between bodily marks and emotions, providing significant clues for understanding the ongoing processes of social restructuring
