Abstract

O artigo descreve e analisa duas experiências pioneiras de formação policial em Sergipe voltadas ao trato da violência de gênero, dirigidas a policiais das delegacias da Mulher. discutindo os limites dos programas de capacitação a reflexão que o artigo propõe consiste em tomar as práticas policiais no seu cotidiano como elemento balizador da formação policial e estratégia para repensar o atendimento às demandas das mulheres em situação de violência e a função social das delegacias da Mulher.
