Abstract

The dialogue between intellectuals from the Global South and the Global North today is central to a general theoretical criti- que of the world power system. This dialogue needs to consider three points: a trans-national perspective - beyond Eurocen- trism and national and colonial thinking - a transdisciplinary discourse - encompassing the various scientific disciplines in the areas of the human sciences as well as studies on nature - and a close articulation between Theory and practice, between scientific knowledge and collective mobilizations, that will con- sider the role of experiences in the construction of ideas. Howe- ver, this dialogue still remains limited by several difficulties that reproduce mechanisms of coloniality and classification of global knowledge.
