Considering the expansion of on-demand digital platforms, this article discusses the arguments that dispute the possibilities of these enterprises to continue to call themselves mere intermediaries between consumers and independent service providers. From the approach on the social construction of rights, we analyze some international judicial experiences and, especially, in Brazil. We observed that, despite the management of such enterprise-platforms on workers, there are judicial decisions that accept their discourse, thus distancing themselves from actions that aim to denounce the insecurity caused by these relationships and the imposition of a model of work organization outside social legislation. As such, they contribute to the strengthening of these authority of these large corporations.
