Abstract

This critical review aims to analyze the work of Marcia Maria Santos, a Geography professor at the Instituto Federal de Sergipe and the Postgraduate Program in the National Network for Teaching Environmental Sciences at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (PROFCIAMB/UFS). She holds a degree in Geography (Bachelor's Degree) from UFS, a specialization in Municipal Public Management, and a master's and doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Geography at the same institution. She works on research focused on regional analysis; small and medium-sized cities; and environmental education with an emphasis on integration between the school community and the place.
