About the Journal

Scope: The Journal of Studies of Culture of the Federal University of Sergipe is a periodical of the Núcleo de Estudos de Cultura (The Center of Studies of Culture) of the said institution, an autonomous branch of CLEPUL (The Center for Research of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon), created with the intention of bringing together researchers from the vast fields of Human Sciences, Social and Applied Sciences, Languages, Linguistics and Arts, so that, through a reciprocal and non-hierarchical exchange, disciplinary limitations which hinder the emergence of new ways of conceiving modern and contemporary culture will be overcome, by placing some emphasis on their organizational as well as representational aspects.
